Job Summary
Manage multiple ERP/CIS systems on-premises and in Azure, ensuring business-critical environments remain secure, reliable, and highly available. Co-lead complex implementation and onboarding projects while administering core platform services including identity, storage, and network security across Linux, Windows, and containerized infrastructures. Build automation and scripts for deployment, monitoring, and routine maintenance to reduce manual toil, applying AI-assisted tools to accelerate troubleshooting and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc support issues through ticketing systems, deliver monthly reports, and maintain internal documentation. Work daily with customers, BI, and development groups to identify problems, participate in knowledge transfer sessions, and contribute to internal AI initiatives and roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical support, business analysis, system administration, cloud infrastructure, and/or managed services experience or education
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience or solid knowledge of Azure
- Experience of Apache Tomcat, Tomcat hardening, Nginx and SSL certificates
- Hands-on experience of Docker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills to meet competing deadlines of multiple projects
- Experience using Jira, TeamSupport or equivalent
- Identity and access administration (SSO, directory/AD, group policy, conditional access)
- Comfortable adopting AI-assisted tools, with the initiative to apply AI to engineering, operations, and support work as part of our roadmap
- Experience of TCP/IP networking in general
- Experience of SAN Storage, Disk Management, Logical Volume Management (LVM) disk mirroring and clustering
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI-driven automation — e.g., LLM or agent-based workflows, prompt engineering, or AI tooling that measurably improved operations, support, or delivery
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices — SLIs/SLOs, observability, incident response, and automation to reduce toil
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Oracle Administration
- Managed Services
- Project delivery on Azure
- Previous working experience in the utility industry
- Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Shell, Azure CLI, etc.)
