Job Summary
Collaborate with the IT and development team to define website features based on construction industry requirements and review and validate website content, tools, and calculators for industry accuracy. Provide expert guidance on construction materials, methods, regulations, and best practices while identifying industry pain points and recommending solutions to enhance platform usability. Ensure compliance with construction standards, codes, and safety guidelines and assist in testing and providing feedback on platform features to align with industry needs. Act as a bridge between construction professionals and the IT team for seamless communication. Research and update the team on emerging trends in construction technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and project workflows
- Familiarity with construction standards and regulations
- Ability to translate construction industry needs into technical requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with IT teams or in digital transformation projects is a plus
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) or construction management software
- Understanding of construction cost estimation and project planning tools
- Experience in UX/UI feedback for construction-related platforms is a plus
