Job Summary
Serve as the primary technical expert for key Environmental Health and Safety areas including water, waste, air, and health and safety. Execute high-level technical work, prepare cost assumptions for proposals, and develop technical approaches for project scope documents. Manage annual client revenues, plan and organize projects within the technical discipline, and ensure compliance with company quality assurance guidelines. Act as the client's primary point of contact, coordinating staff, communicating with internal and external participants, and establishing relationships with regulatory organizations. Provide strategic analysis of federal, state, and local regulations, educate clients on obligations, and present conference papers. Meet personal utilization goals and profit targets while maintaining routine communication with all project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in a subset of a key regulatory or technical service area(s) and general Environmental regulatory and compliance knowledge
- Ability to prepare and execute high-level technical work individually, with the capacity to direct others on how to do the same
- Maintain in-depth knowledge that allows for a nuanced understanding of a Technical Area beyond what would be apparent to an entry level employee
- Build effective teams and enroll members as necessary
- Can communicate all facets of day-to-day work within the Technical Area to both internal teams and clients
- Educate the company on the obligations and considerations of existing clients and prospects within a Technical Area
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory organizations, industry technical experts/peers, and provide technical interpretation, review, and strategic analysis of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations for clients
- Engage with senior resources to ensure best decision-making practices for complicated issues with high visibility and ALL4/client liability
- Prepare and present conference papers or presentations
- Consistently and reliably meet or exceed personal utilization goals and profit targets
- Develop technical approach and cost assumptions for proposals and scope of work documents to attain project work and to meet schedules and contract requirements
- Utilize ALL4 project management support systems to ensure project profitability and to satisfy client deliverable and scope of work requirements
- Assume technical responsibility and maintain routine and timely communication with all internal and external project participants
- Manage annual client revenues as collaboratively determined by the leadership team
- Plan, organize, and execute projects within technical discipline, while serving as clients' primary point of contact
- Ensure project compliance with ALL4 Quality Assurance guidelines
- Demonstrate a high-level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- May be required to coordinate staff
- Engineering or applicable science degree and collective experiences equivalent to 5 years of consulting or industry experience in an Environmental technical discipline
- Advanced level knowledge in one or more key technical areas impacting clients
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and delegate workflow proactively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong document production skills (proficiency in Word and Excel) and technical writing ability
