Job Summary
Technical Compliance Engineer I provides technical consulting on gaming regulatory compliance to regulators, manufacturers, and Engineering staff. Responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating technical matters related to gaming regulatory compliance, handling incoming reviews and modifications, performing outgoing reviews and technical evaluations, evaluating issues/bugs, developing Certification Report Disclosures, maintaining jurisdictional regulatory knowledge and familiarity with GLI Standard Series and Evolution, and providing technical training/workshops. Requires degree in CS or ECE (or equivalent), strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Office, ability to collaborate across teams, and fluency in Portuguese and English. Office-based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain; in-person remote option. Potential requirement to obtain gaming licenses per jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, electrical / computer engineering or equivalent technical backgrounds
- Formal training, experience, or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered acceptable in lieu of the educational requirements
- Must possess good analytical skills
- Must have great written and oral communication skills, including a passion for customer service
- Must have the ability to quickly assess issues, find solutions, and analyse the results
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team
- Must have Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to communicate fluently, in all forms, in Portuguese.
