Job Summary
Technical Communicator responsible for designing and producing user manuals, service manuals, and related technical assets across digital, photo, video, and print formats for SRAM brands. Responsibilities include layout/design, text and image integration, basic video editing, CMS-based authoring and publishing, updating assets for product changes, photography and post-production, preparing files for print and web use, coordinating translations, collaborating with Product Managers, Team Leaders, and Engineers to finalize content, and benchmarking competitor materials. Requires travel (domestic and international up to ~5%), proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, CMS experience, familiarity with 3D modeling tools, and knowledge of bicycle industry terminology. Salary starting at $55,000 plus a performance-based bonus potential; role located in Colorado Springs, with relocation expected for non-local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing & Communication, Journalism, English, or similar major or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Basic working knowledge of video editing software
- Experience with CMS content management and publishing
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Creo) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for projects (<5%)
