Job Summary
Operate all publishing equipment to produce manuals and materials, building resource libraries and managing digital assets through order, print, file retrieval, and archiving systems. Monitor inventory and supplies for printing processes while maintaining production flow and on-time delivery in the absence of the department lead. Navigate server files to understand technical manual naming conventions and equipment classifications, ensuring accurate, error-free documents are shipped with equipment or directly to customers. Requires proficiency in Adobe tools and ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a field supporting production, manufacturing, or workflow operations
- Minimum of one year of experience in printing, document finishing, or a related production environment
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in File Explorer
- Proficiency in Adobe tools
- Ability to learn additional software quickly
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to learn a variety of complex processes
- Knowledge of company product line
- Knowledge of digital printing equipment
- Knowledge of proper paper stock
- Competence with shear
