Job Summary
Founding Engineer (Technical Cofounder) to own the technical foundation of Sandfox: build AI-powered, adaptive buyer experiences; shape product architecture and engineering standards; deliver scalable backend and customer-facing features; work directly with the founder across product strategy and execution. Role spans the stack from AI orchestration and data pipelines to UX-driven customer experiences; candidate should thrive in ownership, ambiguity, and building elegant solutions from the ground up. Will partner with the founder on roadmap, architecture, and technical decision-making, aiming to ship intuitive, valuable experiences for enterprise buyers.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience building and shipping production systems across multiple layers of the stack
- Experience building AI-powered features used by real customers
- Strong product instincts and design taste
- Experience translating ambiguous ideas into polished user experiences and workflows
- Worked directly with customers
- Autonomy in early-stage environments
- Familiarity with Python, Go, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, AWS, Docker (values optional)
