Technical Business Development Manager - Power Solutions

Job Summary
Promote Amphenol's next-generation power products to OEM/ODMs in the Datacom market, winning key new design opportunities and driving top-line and bottom-line growth. Present the Power Solutions portfolio to global sales teams to clarify positioning and target customers, while collaborating on pricing and market strategy to maximize share at key accounts. Manage the new business opportunity funnel, aligning sales and marketing on win strategies and developing necessary tools. Forecast revenue, prepare book-to-ship estimates, and serve as the liaison between customer engineering teams and internal functions like Operations and Quality. Identify product gaps and define market requirements to close total available market space, while managing project timelines and roadmaps. Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% for field engagements and factory visits, with occasional attendance outside standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a technical engineering discipline
- 4+ years of product management, sales and/or technical business development experience
- preferably for an electronics product line in a related market
- Technical knowledge of the interconnect industry
- familiarity with datacenter architecture, AI computing, server/storage hardware
- Exceptional organization, creativity, adaptability, and strong project management
- Good communication skills
- proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, GANTT charts etc.)
- the ability to integrate with cross functional teams globally
- a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' to get the job done
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
- attendance in meetings outside of standard working hours
