Job Summary

Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering by working with leadership to elicit use cases, research feasibility, and translate conceptual needs into detailed functional requirements. Manage requirements scoping throughout delivery, create artifacts including process flows and vendor evaluations, and interpret data to identify trends and actionable decisions. Partner with IT, development, and administrative teams to align systems with business goals, support technical teams during solution development and testing, and facilitate training for various departments. Act as a primary liaison between stakeholders and vendors to ensure software solutions address operational needs and drive measurable business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • two years related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to gather, document, validate, and prioritize business and technical requirements from stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of software development, databases, APIs, system integrations, and technical architectures
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to use data, process analysis, and critical thinking to identify root causes, assess impacts, and recommend solutions
  • Maps current and future-state processes, identifies inefficiencies, and drives operational improvements through technology and process changes
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software development lifecycle, agile, and waterfall project methodologies
  • Develop and utilize deep domain knowledge and understanding of business processes for both guest facing and backend supporting processes -across all channels
  • Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Translate retail business needs (e.g., omnichannel, inventory management, point-of-sale systems) into IT requirements that enhance customer and operational outcomes
  • Work effectively in matrixed teams, bridge technical and business perspectives, and engage continuously with business leaders
  • Create training plans and facilitate training sessions for various departments
  • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit
