Job Summary
Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes, then gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements. Translate these needs into clear technical specifications for engineering teams while explaining trade-offs to non-technical audiences. Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and product owners throughout the software development lifecycle, analyzing APIs, data structures, and system integrations to support solution design. Work with XML and structured data exchanges, and assist with data validation using SQL and scripting when needed to identify process improvements and recommend practical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Analysis or Technical Analysis experience
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Strong experience creating clear, detailed requirements documentation including: Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, User Stories, Process Flows, Acceptance Criteria
- Working knowledge of Python
- Working knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Experience working with XML and structured data exchanges
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
