Technical AWS Rehost Migration Manager

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned cloud migration waves, owning the full lifecycle from planning through cutover and hypercare. Coordinate migration activities across infrastructure, application, and business teams, mobilizing execution groups to develop detailed cutover plans and manage dependencies. Review and approve technical solution designs, validate execution against approved plans, and obtain formal sign-off for migration activities. Track progress against milestones, maintain risk and issue registers, and provide regular reporting on wave status and success metrics. Facilitate rapid resolution of post-migration incidents and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement of migration processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise infrastructure or cloud migration projects
- Proven experience coordinating server migration and cutover activities within large enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies and migration lifecycles
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Windows & Linux Server environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of DNS
- Knowledge of Firewalls
- Knowledge of Networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of Infrastructure services
- Strong project coordination and planning skills
- Experience managing project risks, issues, governance, and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure within highly complex programmes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure cloud migration programmes
- Exposure to AWS or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience using migration tooling such as Azure Migrate, CloudEndure, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with ITIL Service Management principles
- Experience working within large enterprise transformation programmes
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Experience coordinating hypercare and operational handover activities
