Job Summary
Technical Author based in Madrid to deliver aircraft manuals and technical documentation including the Outfitting Maintenance Manual (OMM), Cabin Crew Manual (CCM), and safety cards; describe component operations, testing, disassembly/assembly procedures, perform checker functions, and manage the full development cycle of technical documents; update manuals for in-service aircraft as necessary; collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams; requires excellent technical writing skills, ability to translate engineering data into clear content, and fluency in English; familiar with AMM, IPC, CAOM, MMEL, ICA, AFMS, ASD Simplified Technical English (STE), reading engineering drawings, and OEM document libraries; experience with Teamcenter, NX, Arbortext, and FrameMaker is advantageous; hybrid work model (on-site and remote two days per week).
