Job Summary
Lead and deliver technical assurance activities for a high-impact payroll compliance project in Brisbane on a 6-month contract. Interpret relevant legislation, awards and enterprise agreements to payroll processes; assess compliance risks and identify gaps; develop and maintain obligations registers, control frameworks, and defensible documentation. Perform detailed payroll data analysis to validate compliance and identify anomalies; partner with Payroll, HR and Employee Relations to drive outcomes; support project design, implementation, and produce clear briefing materials for senior stakeholders. Requires autonomy in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment with advanced SAP payroll experience and strong data-analysis capabilities. Hybrid working arrangements with a Brisbane-based office.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in technical assurance, payroll compliance, or risk/audit roles within a complex organisation
- Advanced SAP payroll experience (or similar) with strong Excel/data analysis
- Ability to interpret legislation and translate into operational outcomes
- Autonomy in project-based environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to produce high-quality reports for senior stakeholders
