Job Summary
Conduct site surveys using signal scans, throughput tests, and photo documentation to guide equipment placement. Support installations by mounting brackets, running cables, and performing CPE recovery while maintaining vehicle organization and worksite cleanliness. Participate in callout repairs to inspect sites for potential issues and assist Senior Technicians with maintenance tasks. Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures, including working independently in all weather conditions, confined spaces, and at heights. Ensure all tools and consumables are stocked and organized for daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Basic computer literacy
- Good working knowledge of hand and power tools used in installations
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
- Strong organisational skills and time management
- Presentable, reliable, and punctual with a positive, proactive attitude
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar technical or installation environment is advantageous
