Job Summary
Conduct site surveys using signal scans, throughput tests, and photography for equipment placement. Support installations by mounting brackets, running cables, and performing CPE recovery under Senior Technician guidance. Execute callout repairs, inspect sites for potential issues, and maintain cleanliness at all job sites. Organize tools and consumables in vehicles daily while adhering to Health and Safety procedures. Work independently and collaboratively in all weather conditions, confined spaces, and at heights. Requires Matric, basic computer literacy, hand tool proficiency, and a valid driver's license. Overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Basic computer literacy
- Good working knowledge of hand and power tools used in installations
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
- Strong organisational skills and time management
- Presentable, reliable, and punctual with a positive, proactive attitude
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar technical or installation environment is advantageous
