Job Summary
Technical Assistant/Transport Aide is part of the nursing care team, administering direct patient care and performing duties to ensure quality patient care under supervision. Responsibilities include transporting patients to and from departments, assisting with patient transfers to wheelchairs/beds/stretcher, providing sitter coverage, responding promptly to calls and medical alerts (Code Blue, STEMI Alert, Stoke Alert, Rapid Response), monitoring wheelchair placement, assisting with oxygen tanks, following universal precautions, supporting performance improvement activities, and providing coverage to nursing departments as requested by the nursing supervisor. Per diem, part-time role with pay ranging from $17.47 to $24.26 per hour.
Required Qualifications
