Technical Asset Manager

Technical Asset Manager responsible for reporting requirements, managing 3rd party O&M relationships, and landowner needs for operational utility-scale solar and storage projects across the U.S., with ~20% travel. Responsibilities include onboarding new projects (gathering design documents, commissioning data review, performance modeling), ensuring project-level compliance and timely filings/reports, negotiating service provider agreements and amendments, managing 3rd party O&M providers (work order approval, invoice processing, service-report review, maintenance scheduling), monitoring PV and storage performance with the Operations team, developing KPIs, performing root-cause analysis and recommending optimization, creating and distributing performance/operations/financial reporting and analytics, administering warranty claims, conducting periodic site visits, coordinating high-priority site outages and emergencies with O&M providers (occasional after-hours), and other duties as assigned. Required skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities; self-starter with accountability; ability to manage multiple projects under pressure; and driving a motor vehicle. Education/experience include a Bachelor’s degree (engineering a plus) and 2-4 years in utility-scale solar operations or asset management, with familiarity in performance modeling and potential knowledge of NERC/FERC compliance.
