Job Summary
Technical Artist II at IGT in Reno, NV, working in a Hybrid arrangement connected to the IGT office. You will support the development of game features and presentation elements within Unity, work on VFX elements (particle systems, shaders, materials), assist with test planning and QA support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery. You’ll communicate project status, risks, and challenges, contribute to debugging and resolving scene or performance issues, help ensure features are testable and meet quality standards, and participate in design discussions and feature planning. Key competencies include strong learning mindset, independent work with guidance, problem-solving, and effective collaboration. Must have familiarity with Unity and VFX/shaders/materials, knowledge of Agile workflows, and good communication skills. The role requires legal authorization to work in the United States, with a compensation range of $58,380 to $108,600 annually and a hybrid work setup.
Required Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for a full-time position
- Experience with Unity (VFX, shaders, materials)
- Knowledge of Agile workflows and collaboration tools
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot common issues with guidance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of UI, lighting, and game rules
- Experience contributing to features or fixes within a project
- Exposure to full project lifecycle (at least one project contribution)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (artists, engineers, QA)
