Job Summary
Define and enforce non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, reliability, and security across enterprise platforms. Design scalable and resilient systems while leading architecture reviews and modernization initiatives within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Fabric, Power BI, and .NET. Drive performance testing, optimization, and observability practices while collaborating with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams. Mentor architects and senior engineers to uphold architectural standards. This individual contributor role reports to the Sr. Director of Engineering and focuses on driving architectural strategy for VitalEdge's ERP solutions used globally by dealers and rental companies in construction, mining, forestry, and agriculture.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years experience in software engineering/architecture
- Strong expertise in NFRs
- Hands-on Microsoft stack (Azure, .NET, Fabric, Power BI)
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices
Desired Qualifications
- ERP or enterprise product experience preferred
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
- Data engineering and analytics exposure
- AI/ML familiarity
