Technical Architect

Design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures across corporate platforms and customer solutions, spanning on-premise, data centre, and public cloud environments. Produce architecture designs and provide hands-on guidance to delivery teams, supporting implementation and knowledge transfer. Evaluate architecture and design options, balancing functional and non-functional requirements, and present designs to the Technical Assurance Board. Contribute to technology roadmaps and collaborate with Security Architects to ensure workload protection. Stay aware of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to NEC Software Solutions; work closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are buildable, operable, and supportable. The role involves staying hands-on, participating in architecture peer reviews, and helping maintain high design quality within a mature governance framework. Prior experience in the UK public sector and familiarity with Azure, AWS, or OCI are highly valued.
