Job Summary

Lead technical development of complex, mid- to large-scale projects through design, documentation, and construction, ensuring alignment with project goals and firm standards. Serve as a technical authority on building systems, constructability, code compliance, and detailing while championing technical excellence through QA/QC reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Guide project teams through technical decision-making, balancing performance, cost, schedule, sustainability, and long-term building success. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, designers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges, support construction administration efforts including RFIs and submittals, and mentor emerging professionals to elevate technical knowledge across the firm.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • Current architectural licensure
  • Minimum of 15+ years of professional architectural experience
  • Significant expertise in technical design, detailing, construction documentation, and project delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of building codes, accessibility (ADA), life safety, building systems, and construction standards
  • Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating complex building projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit
  • Strong commitment to BIM-integrated project delivery
  • Strong understanding of interdisciplinary coordination, constructability, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
