Job Summary
Deliver high-quality architecture and design documentation while assessing existing system architectures to recommend improvements and future-ready solutions. Provide technical supervision to development teams, research emerging technologies, and propose adoption strategies for the AIR platform. Engage with business and technical stakeholders across multiple teams to address data platform technology matters and drive initiatives from ideation through product delivery. Act as a technology sparring partner for business teams exploring new opportunities, articulating both opportunities and risks. This six-month contract starts September 30, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium, supporting mission-critical, high-resilience platforms within a complex enterprise environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years as a senior IT software engineer or architect
- Strong experience with big data and modern technology stacks across on-premise and cloud ecosystems
- Proven ability to deliver cross-functional, multi-platform designs for mission-critical environments requiring real-time performance and high resilience
- Expertise in Solution & Functional Architecture (SAFA), Data Architecture, and Data Modeling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences
