Technical Application Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Manage the full technical lifecycle of various critical business applications, including deployment, configuration, and decommissioning. Proactively monitor application health, performance, and availability to identify and address potential issues before they impact users. Perform regular patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities to ensure applications are secure, stable, and running on the latest versions. Troubleshoot complex application-specific infrastructure issues related to web servers, application servers, and middleware. Collaborate closely with development teams to support new deployments, resolve bugs, and optimize application performance. Provide technical expertise and support for key applications such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce, and Coupa. Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Participate in on-call rotations as needed to ensure 24/7 application availability and rapid incident response. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 2-3 years’ practical experience in managing and operating complex enterprise applications
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Azure, GCP)
- Linux administration
- Database management
- Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application infrastructure issues (web servers, application servers, middleware)
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability
