Job Summary
Senior Technical Application Engineer for Power Conversion Solutions in APAC (Chennai) to provide technical and commercial inputs, lead technical presentations during early sales, support bids and tender processes, collaborate with product management and R&D, and serve as a technical ambassador at fairs and conferences. Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent), knowledge of power system principles, and experience with Battery Energy Storage Solutions or renewables converter engineering; responsibilities include advising customers and channel partners, supporting sales/tender activities, and contributing to global partner programs with technical tools and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of power system principles and operations at the utility and industrial levels is required
- Background in Battery Energy Storage Solutions and/or Renewables converter engineering
- Proven experience in technical engineering & sales support
- Strong communication skills
- Senior Technical Application Engineer experience or equivalent
- Ability to lead technical presentations and engage with customers and channel partners
- Experience with utility-scale power converters for BESS or similar technology preferred
