Job Summary
Technical Application Engineer who serves as the bridge between product development and customer requirements, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales efforts. Responsibilities include acting as the technical expert for electric motor integration, assisting customers in designing, selecting, and implementing motor solutions; quoting work in collaboration with the sales team; providing technical support during pre-sales (product selection, system integration, and customization); and coordinating with R&D, product management, and sales to tailor solutions and respond to inquiries with urgency. Requires 3+ years in related roles, proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to travel with the sales team.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in application engineering, product development, or technical support – preferably in electric motors or related fields
- Experience quoting work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- High Level, Proven Customer Service Skills
- Ability to listen carefully to our customer’s request and tailor an offering to meet their needs
- Ability to achieve sales goals
