Job Summary
Develop and implement technical standards in coordination with the Hazardous Waste Director and Business Insights. Provide technical guidance across all branch positions and act as the primary point of contact between internal facilities and branches. Train staff on Federal, local, and State regulations while assisting Technical Customer Advisors with creating new waste streams and approval codes. Serve as a hotline for field operations and help the sales team review complex waste streams for new opportunities. Identify improved disposal and recycling options for branch waste streams. Ensure appropriate process codes are assigned to new third-party approval codes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- >3 years experience working in Operations or as a Technical Customer Advisor
- High technical knowledge/ experience of waste transport, disposal and recycling
- Able to work collaboratively across different functions and to help colleagues
- Able to connect with Hazardous Waste corporate and other branches to understand how they work and identify new ideas: open, not parochial
- Veolia training as required
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred degree or equivalent experience in science, mathematics, or business
