Job Summary
Promote Afinitas products by serving as the primary technical contact for engineers, specifiers, DOTs, and municipalities across the USA and Canada. Gain necessary external approvals to enable sales in key strategic regions and deliver technical presentations to grow product awareness. Determine the impact of regulatory changes and collaborate with leadership to develop business strategies. Provide engineering expertise and oversee external resources for concrete accessories product testing and development projects. Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers to support customer approvals, while entering contacts and sales opportunities into the CRM weekly. Cultivate relationships through active participation in national and local industry associations and by attending industry shows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- 5+ years' experience in Civil Engineering role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly customer oriented with strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple and sometimes shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team and to excel in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
- Must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area
- 10 - 15% Travel after onboarding
