Job Summary
Technical and Oversight Support role supporting the DOE Hanford Field Office's Tank Waste Operations project. Responsible for conducting oversight of AMTWO Tank Waste contractor activities related to operations, equipment installation, radiological controls, environmental, safety and health aspects, and regulatory compliance. Requires mentoring HFO staff, briefing management on oversight results and options, contributing to contractor performance evaluations, and producing assessments/reports. Must have a BS/BA in engineering or physical science with 10+ years of contractor oversight and work control experience, and deep knowledge of DOE Hanford processes, TWO project, and related procedures. Proficient in program management practices and Microsoft 365 tools; strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple organizations to ensure safe and compliant nuclear operations.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in engineering or physical science
- At least 10 years of experience in contractor oversight
- At least 10 years of experience in maintenance and work control management
- Experience with researching and navigating complex federal regulations to determine requirements bases for contractor performance attributes
