Job Summary
Apply full lifecycle software development processes to support Navy software maintenance activities, developing technical specifications, functional requirements, and interface documentation. Analyze, design, and optimize processes for complex Navy C4ISR and maintenance systems while performing advanced analytical problem-solving to guide technical decisions. Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning to ensure iterative delivery aligns with Navy and DoD standards. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and fleet stakeholders to interpret requirements and support digital modernization efforts. Requires active DoD SECRET clearance and 10 years of experience in software development, process analysis, and technical problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology with academic coursework included Human Systems Interface (HSI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE)
- 10 years of experience in Software development processes
- 10 years of experience in Technical specification development
- 10 years of experience in Process analysis and design
- 10 years of experience in Technical problem-solving
- 10 years of experience in Analytical/logical reasoning
- Experience with DoW C4ISR, maintenance, logistics, or business systems
- Demonstrated experience applying Agile software methodology and principles in technical environments
- Active DoD SECRET Clearance
- Ability to maintain clearance level and meet all program security requirements
