Job Summary
Support development and refinement of technical specifications, system processes, workflows, and documentation for the U.S. Navy Software Maintenance Program. Conduct process analysis and design activities to identify gaps, improve efficiency, and enhance system performance across the fleet. Apply analytical and logical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and provide technical recommendations while collaborating with Navy program personnel, engineering teams, logistics specialists, and software maintainers. Evaluate software maintenance approaches, interface requirements, human-system interactions, and system usability considerations. Prepare and present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requires a DoW SECRET Security clearance, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Psychology (with HSI/HFE coursework), and three years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis, and technical problem solving. Salary is $70k+.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Psychology (with coursework including Human Systems Interface (HSI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE))
- Currently possess a DoW SECRET Security clearance
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in: Technical specifications development, Process analysis and design, Technical problem solving, or Analytical/logical thinking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoW C4ISR, maintenance, logistics, or business systems
