Job Summary
Technical Analyst contract role serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing business and technical requirements to design and recommend system solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define specifications and deliver solutions, evaluating existing systems for improvements, troubleshooting issues with root-cause analysis, developing and maintaining documentation (system requirements, workflows, technical specifications), supporting system implementation, testing, and deployment, monitoring performance and optimizing systems, assisting in integrating new technologies and platforms, ensuring security and regulatory compliance, and providing end-user support and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5+ years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with data analysis tools, SQL, and system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Continuous learning mindset
