Job Summary
Technical Advisor II responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying and promoting EPRI products and solutions to meet client needs, and driving revenue growth. The role requires deep technical understanding of the sector R&D portfolio, cross-functional collaboration, and active management of the opportunity lifecycle from needs assessment to close. The position emphasizes proactive feedback to influence product development, effective value communication, and broad adoption of EPRI tools/results within client organizations, with travel about 50% and offices in Dallas, TX and Charlotte, NC, plus remote/home-based options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline; Engineering degree preferred with advanced degree
- Ten years electric power or similar industry experience with at least 5 years of selling complex technical solutions
- Solid understanding of account management and sales practices/principles
- Ability to engage at all levels within client organizations
- Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time
