Job Summary
Technical Advisor for Operational Readiness and Human Factors supporting the DOE Hanford WTP engineering division. Performs as the WTP/TWO SME on Operational Readiness and on Human Factors and Human Performance; conducts oversight and assessment of the contractor’s operational readiness and human factors programs; assists with staffing plans, training needs and division planning; conducts field oversight approximately 2x per week; monitors contractor work processes and reports on successes or obstacles; maintains knowledge of contractor programs and provides timely input to management; demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel).
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in engineering, science or technical discipline
- At least 25 years of experience in contractor oversight, operational readiness assessment and oversight
- At least 25 years of experience in human factor/performance assessment and oversight
- Experience with researching and navigating complex federal regulations to determine requirements for contractor performance attributes
