Job Summary
Manage and resolve complex Solar PV technical support tickets by investigating system faults, performance concerns, and monitoring issues. Work from a triaged queue of technical cases to identify root causes, then contact customers through scheduled outbound callbacks to provide clear, confident explanations. Liaise with installers, field teams, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate case progress and ensure accurate documentation. Support first-line teams as an escalation point for intricate queries and analyze recurring technical patterns to improve troubleshooting guides and support standards. Based in Ringwood, Hampshire, with 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- A good understanding of Solar PV systems and common technical issues
- Confidence interpreting technical information and troubleshooting faults
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to explain technical problems in a simple, customer-friendly way
- Excellent attention to detail and case ownership
- A structured approach to managing tickets and callbacks
- The ability to work well with internal teams, installers and external partners
- Candidates based in the Ringwood, Hampshire area
- The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays
- Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday - Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with inverters, monitoring portals, battery storage or MCS standards
- Background in electrical fault finding or renewable energy customer support
