Job Summary
Technical Accounting Manager responsible for leading accounting research and recommendations on complex areas (e.g., business combinations, derivatives, revenue recognition, loan accounting), ensuring financial reporting disclosures comply with new accounting requirements, supporting tax accounting and regulatory reporting, coordinating SEC filings, leading or supporting M&A activities, reviewing reconciliations and journal entries, contributing to Model Risk and SOX documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accounting guidance on new or complex transactions. Requires strong accounting expertise, ability to produce complex financial analysis, leadership skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business
- Active CPA license
- Experience with SEC filings
- Experience in banking or financial industry
- M&A due diligence and integration experience
- Knowledge of bank operations and internal controls over financial reporting
