Job Summary
Lead complex US GAAP research across ASC 606, 842, 718, and 340-40, drafting audit-defensible position papers and monitoring emerging FASB and SEC standards. Own audit readiness by preparing financial statement schedules, workpapers, and PBC deliverables for external audits, while building SOX control frameworks and driving remediation efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Legal, and FP&A teams to assess accounting implications of new products, M&A, and strategic transactions. Assist in drafting corporate accounting policies and translating complex standards into practical guidance for non-accounting stakeholders. This role serves as the right hand to the Director of Technical Accounting within Armada's edge AI infrastructure team, ensuring the accounting framework keeps pace with rapid business growth and global deployments.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience
- demonstrated technical accounting depth
- Public accounting experience
- Big 4 Accounting experience
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of US GAAP
- expertise in ASC 606
- expertise in ASC 842
- expertise in ASC 718
- expertise in ASC 340-40
- Direct experience with public SEC filers
- Demonstrated experience preparing or reviewing technical accounting memos and position papers
- Experience supporting external audits
