Job Summary
Research customer RFQ proposals, discuss packaging details with engineers, and design new programs to award new business. Conceptualize prototypes, manage sample testing, and finalize packing BOMs for clients. Coordinate with ODM and customer engineers to align packaging development schedules with NPI milestones from award to mass production. Set validation testing dates, track design progress, and correct errors before testing. Conduct packaging tests, book third-party labs, and deliver test reports. Create package BOMs, SOPs, and revision drawings for Server and NB business lines. Work with materials including wood, molded pulp, and corrugated to support Taiwan-based awarded projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Good at communicating in English (written and verbal)
- Full knowledge of design with packing and PM job
- Ability and skill to build good relationships with Brand customers, ODMs or potential customers
- Proficient in MS office software, Adobe illustrator, AutoCAD and SolidWorks software packages
- Several years of project managing experience or design in packaging field of work for Server and NB products
