Job Summary
Lead the engineering team in delivering contractually required MEP outcomes, including corrective, planned, and reactive works for Specialist Vendors. Operate facility systems like HV/LV switching, manage the CMMS for work orders, and ensure compliance with SLAs and statutory regulations. Monitor financial performance, attend operations and client meetings, and own the risk register and asset reliability reporting. Provide robust leadership, drive operational excellence, and manage escalations for vendor performance or emergency responses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Banking HQ and Data Centres or Similar
- HV/LV Authorised Person (Or the ability to attend the training required to obtain sign off by AE)
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND (Successfully completed apprenticeship in either)
- C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds
- 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation
- IOSH Managing Safely (Or NEBOSH equivalent)
- Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of engineers and supervisors. Completed ILM3/5 or similar
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff/management/customers
- Have excellent IT and report writing skills
- Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions
- Advanced communication skills with a full understanding of customer needs & expectations
- A high level of initiative, with drive to continuously improve the operation
- Integrity, honesty and punctuality
- Collaborative Team Player, who works effectively to achieve common goals

- Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training for MEP assets, this may require nights away from home due to the nature of the specialist training such as HV/LV Authorised Person Training
