Job Summary
Technical Account Manager responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty across assigned ABB accounts by handling customer technical requests, coordinating with colleagues to resolve technical issues, and managing service-contract deliverables and on-time delivery. The role includes measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of services to stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers, and identifying service and system sales opportunities to grow ABB’s service contracts. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of experience with control systems; preferred familiarity with System 800xA, Symphony Plus, and ABB heritage products. The position is hybrid in the Energy Industries NAM Hub in the United States and emphasizes proactive customer support, lifecycle reporting, and clear communication of progress to both internal and customer stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience working with control systems in a technical capacity
- Experience in service delivery and process automation markets (preferred: System 800xA, Symphony Plus, ABB Heritage products)
- Ability to communicate technical and commercial status to site personnel
