Job Summary
Perform laboratory assignments including maintenance and calibration of equipment and laboratory testing; or work in two or more areas of the laboratory. Assist scientists or engineers with formulating and testing, or other activities. Perform simultaneous assignments in accordance with written procedures, manuals, and other instructions. Utilize a variety of laboratory equipment and tools. Areas of specialization include testing and analysis for mechanical testing, chemical testing, physical testing, machining, and others. Participate in team meetings and problem solving sessions as required. Provide laboratory duties of a more difficult and/or complex nature.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED required
- Two plus years’ experience preferred in a laboratory or similar environment; or two plus years’ experience preferred working in a carbon composite manufacturing environment; or an Associate of Arts degree in a lab science or closely related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
