Job Summary
Technical Services Writer I responsible for technical writing of proposals, test plans and reports for source testing projects; manages workload, follows written and verbal instructions, and communicates project status within Alliance; writes proposals based on customer information, permits and pricing; collaborates with project managers and data quality analysts to draft accurate reports and test plans; prepares electronic reports using EPA’s Electronic Reporting Tool (ERT) and ECMPS; requires proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook; strong verbal communication, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to outside-hours work; on-site roles at Sharon, MA and Acworth, GA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- AS or BS degree preferred (Science and Engineering related fields ideal)
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook
- Good verbal communication skills (Internally and with Clients and Regulators)
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task while remaining focused
- Flexibility: Must be available to work outside normal work hours to complete projects
- Attention to detail
