Job Summary
Oversee the Tech Services Team and maintain technical elements including audio, video, and operational systems while preserving exhibit cleanliness. Coordinate with vendors to escalate issues, schedule repairs, and perform preventative maintenance on critical systems. Complete daily and weekly inspection checklists, maintain restrooms and exhibit standards, and ensure all health and safety protocols are followed by stocking disinfectants. Delegate tasks, answer guest questions, and support exhibit operations as needed to ensure the best experience. Work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with pay of $21.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Must be able to remain in a standing stationary position more than 75% of the time
- Must be able to work a minimum of two shifts, one of which must be a weekend day
- Must be able to move about inside the exhibit space
- Constantly positions self to clean and maintain exhibit equipment
- Regularly operates audio, video, and lighting equipment
- Frequently lifts and moves items / equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma (or its equivalent)
- Previous experience with show elements such as lighting, audio, and/or visual
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of basic elements for critical systems (plumbing, electrical and HVAC)
- 6 months in a leadership role
