Job Summary
Senior Tech Auditor leading technology audit engagements within our Technology team, focusing on development practices, technology operations, and authentication controls. Responsible for managing a program of audit coverage across Consumer & Community Banking technology, including planning, evaluation, documentation of control design and operating effectiveness, directing audit staff, report drafting, issue closure, and coordination with Audit colleagues to ensure timely, within-budget audits. Use data analytics to improve efficiency and quality of testing, establish relationships with technologists, Risk Management, Compliance, regulators, and external auditors, and stay current with evolving technology changes impacting technology processes. Maintain confidentiality of Internal Audit communications and protect information per firm policy.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of internal or external auditing experience, or relevant business experience
- Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) in Technology or related discipline
- Understanding of internal control concepts, with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of control design and operating effectiveness related to technology general controls and by considering business and technology risks in an integrated manner
- Ability to effectively and efficiently execute audit testing and complete audit work paper documentation in a timely manner
- Adapt to changing business priorities and ability to multitask in a constantly changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build strong partnerships with senior business and control partners
- Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of coding, data analytics, cloud design and controls, and/or distributed technologies
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA
- Advanced degree and background in Technology
