Job Summary
Tech Risk & Controls Director within JPMorganChase's Firmwide Technology Resiliency leads the development and implementation of technology risk management strategies, policies, and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, driving strategic projects to enhance resilience. The role involves escalating emerging technology risks through the firm's management framework tools, providing expert counsel on security obligations, and maintaining strong relationships with regulators and auditors in the EMEA region. It also covers governance and reporting of controls, issue management, and metrics to inform senior leadership about control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or a related field
- Focus on managing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to financial industry
- Proven ability to lead large teams, manage cross-functional projects, influence executive-level strategic decision-making, and translate technology insights to business strategy in communications with senior executives
- Advanced knowledge and experience leading data security, risk assessment & reporting, and control evaluation, design, and governance, with a track record of implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of Operational resilience regulations and guidelines such as DORA and awareness of the EMEA regulatory landscape such as ECB and PRA
