Tech Risk and Controls Lead-IAM

Job Summary
Lead IAM risk and controls within JPMorgan Chase’s Cybersecurity Technology and Controls. Responsible for identifying, mitigating, and reporting technology risks; providing subject-matter guidance to technology process owners; ensuring IAM controls operate effectively and align with regulatory and industry standards; collaborating with Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and Regulators; driving improvements in IAM-related controls, governance, and risk posture; overseeing reporting and governance of controls, issues, and measurements; and partnering with IAM teams to align access controls with regulatory requirements. Strong emphasis on RBAC, least privilege, segregation of duties, and audits/regulatory reviews related to IAM.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IAM technology risk management, information security, or related field, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
- Good understanding of IAM technologies (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, Azure AD, Okta)
- Hands-on experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions and processes (user lifecycle management, access certification, privileged access controls)
- Strong understanding of IAM technologies (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA, PAM tools) and their integration into enterprise environments
- Experience designing and implementing IAM policies, standards, and procedures to meet regulatory and audit requirements
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements
- Proficient knowledge and expertise in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level strategic decision-making and translate technology insights into business strategies for senior executives
