Job Summary
Identify, quantify, and manage technology risks through root cause analysis while leveraging enterprise-authorized AI to synthesize evidence and draft executive reporting. Develop robust relationships with LOB technologists, assessments teams, and data officers to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure controls operate effectively against regulatory standards. Execute governance of policies and issue management, proactively monitoring control effectiveness to recommend enhancements that strengthen risk posture. Demonstrate proficiency in the end-to-end model development lifecycle, validating AI-assisted summaries before use to align with security and auditability expectations. Coordinate issue remediation and provide thematic analysis to identify trends, influencing executive-level strategic decisions on technology risk priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or related field, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
- Proficient knowledge and expertise in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance, with a proven record of implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
- Demonstrate experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technology risk and controls workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level strategic decision-making and translating technology insights into business strategies for senior executives
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to security, auditability and regulatory expectations
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in AI risk governance, securing platforms, applications, and business processes with deep understanding of AI threats, mitigations, and defense mechanisms
- Strong understanding of data classification/handling, IAM and entitlement management (least privilege, privileged access reviews), and how to ensure AI tools comply with security and privacy requirements end-to-end
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of deploying, operationalizing, and managing AI, ML, and advanced analytical models in a large-scale enterprise environment
- CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CopmTIA Security+ or similar industry-recognized risk and risk certifications are preferred
