Job Summary
Tech Risk and Controls specialist responsible for identifying, quantifying, and mitigating technology risk, developing governance of controls and incident response, and serving as main point of contact with regulators to report on cyber risk. Collaborates with product owners, risk assessments teams, and data officers to drive cross-functional risk initiatives, monitor KRIs/KPIs, and improve regulatory compliance. Requires 10+ years of technology risk experience, familiarity with Chinese banking regulations, and certifications such as CISM/CRISC/CISSP (preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology risk management
- Familiarity with China banking regulations (e.g., NFRA, PBOC, SAFE, MLPS)
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Proficient knowledge in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level strategic decision-making and translate technology insights into business strategy for senior executives
- CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or other industry-recognized risk certifications (preferred)
