Job Summary
The Retread Technician will perform all aspects of the re-treading process including receiving old tires, dismounting, safety inspections, and applying new rubber tread using specialized machinery. Responsibilities include ensuring a clean station, meeting daily metrics, working in a team, maintaining logs via various mediums, and adhering to safety procedures when handling hazardous materials. Candidates must be able to work in extreme temperatures, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in facility that is NOT temperature controlled
- Ability to frequently bend, twist and lift objects over 50 - 100 pounds
- Must be able to work standing up and handle repetitive and sustained motions
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must pass a criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of Commercial Tires is preferred
