Job Summary
Diagnose equipment or device issues using testing tools and inspection methods, then repair or replace damaged components to ensure safe and efficient operation. Perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment failure, test repaired units for proper functionality, and maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service performed. Follow safety procedures while communicating repair status and recommendations to supervisors or customers. Maintain tools, work areas, and repair equipment in good condition, ordering replacement parts as needed. Work in repair shops, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm at $17.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work with tools safely
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Attention to detail
- Time management and organization
- Communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Monday - Friday
- 8am- 4:30 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training
- Experience in equipment, electronics, appliance, or mechanical repair
