Job Summary
Tech Project Manager within WFP’s Private Sector Partnerships, responsible for owning and continuously improving the IG Tech & Product delivery management system. Establish governance, prioritization, capacity planning, and delivery tracking; manage intake of requests; coordinate vendors and cross-functional stakeholders; drive process improvements and operational efficiency; align delivery with fundraising objectives and organizational strategy; ensure predictable, sustainable delivery of high-value initiatives and enable the team to focus on impactful work. The role requires strong project-management discipline, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in fast-moving, multi-national humanitarian environments.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or relevant educational certificate in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Professional Software Engineer, Business Administration or STEM discipline (can be replaced by complementary work experience)
- Project management certification such as PRINCE II, Agile or equivalent advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in project management, technical project management, PMO, delivery management, or related operational coordination roles
- Experience managing complex projects in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors/service providers
- Experience using project management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday.com, Trello or equivalent)
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments desirable
- Experience in technology, digital transformation, fundraising technology, or operational support environments an asset
- Experience working in international organizations, NGOs, humanitarian environments (truncated)
